Parish of North West Lochaber Church of Scotland

The Parish of North West Lochaber is unique within the Church of Scotland as it consists of communities accessible by road and some only accessible by sea.

With ten communities, each with their own unique characteristics, the traditional models of Parish Ministry and so new models of reaching out with the good news of Jesus Christ are always being explored.

The Parish has a very interesting and varied history, which you can read about in the history of the Parish section of this site.

The Road to the Isles and the Rough Bounds are names synonymous with the area covered by the Parish.

In our walk with Christ we follow His example to come to him, to follow Him, to wait on Him and to go for Him.

This website, we hope, will allow you to engage with the Church famly of North West Lochaber but more importantly with Jesus Christ, His love and the desire of God for the whole world to know what He has done for each one of us through His one and only son Jesus Christ.
